If you intent to bring a used car from Germany by yourself, then you should know that there have been frequent complaints that the German merchants often do not comply with the regulations when they trade with European consumers.

According to announcements of European consumers associations, European consumers have reported that some German providers do not take in responsibility the costs of repairing the car when a failure occurs, as required by the guarantee regulation.

Even worse, some consumers have fallen victims to others, carried away by lower prices advertised through the Internet. There have been allegations that they have sent payment for the cars but never received the vehicle and of course lost their money.

For the reasons stated above, it is highly recommended to the customers to be extremely careful and to investigate the reliability of the companies that are involved in such transactions, such as the companies that act as guarantors and receive payments in advance, which pay to the seller when the car has been delivered to the buyer.
